Dolce&Gabbana and A.C.Milan partnership renewed: in addition to the sponsorship deal, the two designers will continue to design the team’s red and black uniforms
Milan, June 29th 2010 - Dolce&Gabbana and A.C.Milan are pleased to announce the renewal of the partnership which sees them collaborating until the end of the 2012-2013 season.
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been designing the uniforms for the team and for the entire red/black Club since 2004 and, during these years, the relationship between Dolce&Gabbana and A.C.Milan has grown exponentially, so much so that the prestigious luxury brand has become one of the Club’s top sponsors.
Since the first contract was signed, many important goals have been reached by both parties: today A.C.Milan is the world’s top title-winning team, having won in just one very memorable year the Champions League, the UEFA Supercup and the FIFA World Cup, whilst Dolce&Gabbana celebrated the 20th anniversary of their first Womenswear and Menswear collections in 2005 and in 2010 respectively.
For this important celebration, A.C.Milan wanted to show all the affection and respect which ties the team to Dolce&Gabbana in a very special way: the red and black players recorded a video of congratulations which was delivered to the Designers during a gala event held at Palazzo Marino last June 19th, where the player Alexander Pato participated on behalf of the entire team.
“We are very happy to have renewed our partnership with A.C.Milan, a team which has given us so much for almost six years now and which we are great fans of.” - stated Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
“The relationship which we have built with Domenico, Stefano and their team is not only professional, but personal, founded on great trust and on a sincere friendship. Furthermore, we believe that this renewal is a sign of the project’s continuity, a fundamental value in all our sponsorship deals. It is a partnership which brings together two of the most prestigious Italian brands which are synonymous with global excellence,” declared Adriano Galliani, Vice Executive President and Managing Director of the Club located in via Turati.
